Patricia Cornell is a dedicated public servant and a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, representing Hillsborough 22. She assumed office on December 7, 2022, and her current term ends on December 4, 2024. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has run for re-election to continue her service to the people of Hillsborough 22.

Born and raised in Manchester, Patricia has lived there her entire life. She attended Manchester public schools and later pursued higher education at the University of New Hampshire. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Education, specializing in counseling.

Before entering politics, Patricia had a successful career as a middle school guidance counselor. Her passion for education and her experience in the field have been instrumental in her legislative work. She has served on the House Education Committee for multiple terms, demonstrating her commitment to improving the education system in New Hampshire.

In addition to her work in education, Patricia has also been involved in local government. She has served on the Manchester Water Works Commission and is currently a Trustee of the Manchester City Library. These roles have allowed her to contribute to her community in various ways and have given her a deep understanding of the issues that her constituents care about.

Patricia is a lifelong resident of Manchester. She and her husband bought their home on the West Side when they got married and have lived there for 44 years. Her deep roots in the community and her dedication to public service make her a strong advocate for the people of Hillsborough 22.

Throughout her political career, Patricia has been a strong advocate for public education, accessible and affordable housing, affordable and accessible health and mental health services, reproductive choice, and voting rights. She has always voted against any bill that would downshift costs to local communities.

Patricia’s commitment to her constituents and her dedication to public service are evident in her work. She continues to serve the people of Hillsborough 22 with integrity and dedication, striving to make a positive impact in her community and the state of New Hampshire.
