Representative Peggy Balboni
Peggy Balboni is an American politician who serves as a Democratic member for the Rockingham 38th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. She assumed office on December 7, 2022. Her current term ends on December 4, 2024.
Peggy Balboni earned a B.S. in psychology from Georgetown University and an M.A. in special education from Columbia University. Her career experience includes working as a public school teacher. She served on the Rye School Board, on the Rye Budget Committee, and as the chair of the grants committee of the Rye Education Foundation.
In the general election for New Hampshire House of Representatives Rockingham 38 on November 8, 2022, Peggy Balboni defeated Robert Lincoln and Steven Borne. She won with 51.1% of the votes, totaling 4,486 votes.
Peggy Balboni is a first-term representative to the NH House, serving Greenland, North Hampton and Rye. She and her husband, Jeff, have lived in the Rye community for almost thirty years. They have four children, one grandchild, and a yellow lab, Bella.
