Representative Phyllis Katsakiores
Phyllis M. Katsakiores was born on September 22, 1934, in Wakefield, Massachusetts. She is an American politician who represents the Rockingham 6 district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. She previously served in the House from 1982 to 2012.
Katsakiores also served on the Derry, New Hampshire Town Council multiple times, from 1985 to 1994, from 2003 to 2006, and from 2012 to 2024. Prior to her political career, Katsakiores worked as a newspaper reporter in Massachusetts and as a local grocery supervisor.
In terms of education, Katsakiores graduated from Saugus High School and attended Malden Business School. Her professional experience includes working as a demonstrator at Shaw’s Supermarket and reporter for Derry News.
As a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Katsakiores has been assigned to several committees, including the State-Federal Relations and Veterans Affairs Committee. She has sponsored numerous bills during her tenure, demonstrating her active involvement in legislative matters.
