Timothy P. Lang Sr. is a distinguished politician from New Hampshire, currently serving in the New Hampshire Senate. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, Lang served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives from December 7, 2016, to December 7, 2022.

Born in Englewood, New Jersey, U.S., Lang is a member of the Republican Party. He resides in Sanbornton, New Hampshire, U.S. He attended Humboldt State University from 1985 to 1987 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University.

Lang has had a diverse career. He is the Northeast Regional IT Director for LiveNation. He has also served as a senior IT manager of northeast venues with Live Nation Entertainment, the IT director of Scotia Technology, and the CEO of TNMTI.

In addition to his professional career, Lang has been actively involved in his local community. He has served as the town moderator of Sanbornton, New Hampshire, the chairman of the Sanbornton Zoning Board of Adjustment, and a member of the Winnisquam Regional School District School Board.

During his tenure in the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Lang held several committee assignments. He served as the Clerk for Ways and Means in 2017-18, a Member of the Joint Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules (JLCAR) in 2017-18, 2019-20, and 2021-22, and the Chairman of Fish and Game, and Marine Resources in 2021-22.

In the New Hampshire Senate, Lang has been assigned to the Senate Education Committee and serves as the Chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee for the 2023-2024 term.
