Valerie McDonnell is an American politician who is currently serving as a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Rockingham 25th district. She was elected in November 2022 and assumed office on December 7, 2022.
Born on May 25, 2004, in Salem, New Hampshire, Valerie is a native of the town. Her parents are Brian McDonnell and Pauline McDonnell. She graduated from Salem High School in 2022 and is currently a sophomore at Southern New Hampshire University. She is majoring in political science with a minor in professional writing.
Valerie has shown a keen interest in public speaking and has been recognized for her skills. In 2021 and 2022, she was the New Hampshire state champion and a National Finalist of the American Legion Oratorical Contest.
In 2022, Valerie was elected to represent Rockingham’s 25th District of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. This achievement makes her one of the youngest state legislators in the United States. She is a member of the Republican Party.
