Walter Spilsbury, also known as Terry, is an American politician who serves as a Republican member for the Sullivan 3rd district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He assumed office on December 7, 2022, and his current term ends on December 4, 2024.

Born in New York City, Spilsbury was raised in Huntington, New York. He graduated from Huntington High School and went on to pursue higher education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Environmental Studies from Bowdoin College in 1976. He later earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Washington Law School in 1980, and an MBA degree from Columbia University in 1992.

Before his political career, Spilsbury gained diverse professional experience. He worked as a maritime counsel on the U.S. Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, & Transportation, an associate attorney, a marketing director with Sea-Land Service, and an independent financial consultant. He has also served as the chair of the Charlestown Heritage Commission, the Charlestown School Withdrawal Study Committee, and the Charlestown Planning Board.

In the 2022 general election for the New Hampshire House of Representatives Sullivan 3, Spilsbury ran for re-election and won, securing his current position. He is known for his commitment to his constituents and his dedication to public service.
