Representative John Azzariti

John V. Azzariti Jr. (born February 1, 1966) is an American physician and Republican Party politician. He currently serves as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly for the 39th legislative district, having taken office on January 9, 2024.

A lifelong resident of Bergen County, John’s narrative is woven with threads of compassion, community service, and professional dedication. His educational journey began at Case Western Reserve University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and economics. His capacity for leadership quickly became apparent, leading to his appointment as the Associate Director of the hospital’s Anesthesiology Department and President of his anesthesiology group.

Beyond clinical practice, John’s influence extends to professional organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors and the House of Delegates of the American Society of Anesthesiologists. His commitment to advancing his field and advocating for patients is evident through his involvement in the New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists, where he has held various roles, including Past President and Executive Committee member.

Civic engagement is another hallmark of Dr. Azzariti’s career. From 2019 to 2023, he served as a Councilman for Saddle River, contributing to local governance.
