Anthony M. Bucco, born April 12, 1962, is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He serves in the New Jersey State Senate, representing District 25, and assumed office on October 24, 2019.

Anthony M. Bucco, born on April 12, 1962, is a lifelong resident of Morris County, New Jersey. He earned his B.A. in Managerial Economics/Business Administration from Lycoming College and his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law. He is an attorney by profession, practicing at Murphy and McKeon, P.C.

Bucco has had a long and distinguished career in public service. He served on the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse from 1998 to 2009. He began his legislative service in the General Assembly in 2010, where he held various leadership positions including Deputy Republican Leader from 2012 to 2016, Republican Whip from 2016 to 2017, and Conference Leader from 2017 to 2019.

In 2019, Bucco was appointed to the New Jersey Senate following the death of his father, incumbent Senator Anthony R. Bucco. He has served in the Senate since then, representing District 25. He was the Republican Whip from 2022 to 2023, and has been the Republican Leader since 2023.

District 25, which Bucco represents, is located in New Jersey. As of the 2020 Census, New Jersey state senators represented an average of 232,362 residents. After the 2010 Census, each member represented 220,188 residents.
