Meredith Dixon is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves as a representative for District 20 in the New Mexico House of Representatives. She assumed office on January 1, 2021, and her current term ends on December 31, 2024. She is running for re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 20 and is on the ballot in the Democratic primary on June 4, 2024.

Born in Ossining, New York, Dixon pursued her higher education at Chatham College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in 1999. She furthered her studies at the University of Pittsburgh, obtaining a master’s degree in 2002.

Before her political career, Dixon was a business owner and founded the Blue Advantage Partners consulting firm. Her career experience includes owning this consulting firm, which has undoubtedly equipped her with valuable skills and insights that she brings to her role as a representative.

In her role as a representative, Dixon has been assigned to several committees. For the tenure of 2023-2024, she serves as the Vice Chair of the Appropriations and Finance Committee and is also a member of the Energy, Environment and Natural Resources Committee.
