Stefani Lord is an American politician who is currently serving as a member of the New Mexico House of Representatives from the 22nd district. She was elected in 2020 and assumed office on January 19, 2021.

Born in Los Angeles, California, Stefani Lord moved to Idaho in 1997 and later relocated to Los Alamos, New Mexico to work at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. She now resides in Sandia Park, New Mexico.

Stefani Lord is a proud member of the Republican Party. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Portland State University in 2000. She graduated at the top of her class and is a member of multiple honor societies, including Golden Key and Psi Chi.

Before her political career, Stefani Lord worked as a small business owner and manager. She has also devoted her time to hobbies, philanthropy, and serving the people of District 22. She is the founder of Pro-Gun Women, an organization that advocates for the rights of women gun owners.

During her campaign, Stefani Lord planned to participate in an event in support of the New Mexico Civil Guard, a far-right militia group. However, after it was reported that the founder of the group was a former neo-Nazi, Lord dropped out of the event.

In the 2020 November general election, Stefani Lord defeated Democratic nominee Jessica Velasquez. Her current term ends on December 31, 2024. Stefani Lord is running for re-election to the New Mexico House of Representatives to represent District 22. She is on the ballot in the Republican primary on June 4, 2024.

As a legislator, Stefani Lord has been assigned to several committees, including the Consumer & Public Affairs Committee and the Health & Human Services Committee. She has sponsored numerous bills during her tenure, demonstrating her commitment to serving the people of New Mexico.
