Representative Michael Cashman

Michael Cashman is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the New York State Assembly, representing District 115. He assumed office on November 13, 2025, and his current term will conclude on January 1, 2027.

Cashman earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh, where he developed a strong foundation in public service and civic engagement. Before his election to the Assembly, he served nearly a decade as the Town Supervisor of Plattsburgh, becoming the youngest person ever elected to the position.
