Representative Amanda Cook

Amanda Cook is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 60. She assumed office on November 18, 2025, and her current term will conclude on January 1, 2027.

Amanda Parsons Cook, born on November 2, 1982, in High Point, North Carolina, has built her career around education, community service, and public leadership. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2008 and later completed a master’s degree at Gardner–Webb University in 2021.
