Sarah Crawford is an American politician and nonprofit executive. She is a member of the Democratic Party and has been serving as a representative of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 66, since January 1, 2023. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Born and raised in Eastern Wake County, North Carolina, Sarah is the daughter of a public school teacher and a state employee. From her parents, she was instilled with the value of hard work and the importance of public education, core tenets that she has carried into her political career.

Sarah earned a B.A. in political science from North Carolina State University in 2003. Her career experience includes working as the CEO of the Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities (TLC), the national director of partnerships and programs with Single Stop USA, and owning Willow Strategies.

Before her tenure in the House of Representatives, Sarah served in the North Carolina Senate from 2021 to 2023, representing the 18th district, which includes parts of Franklin and Wake counties. During her time in the Senate, she worked diligently for her constituents, focusing on issues that directly impact their lives.

In the House of Representatives, Sarah has been assigned to several committees, including the Appropriations Committee, Appropriations on Capital Committee, Energy and Public Utilities Committee, Families, Children, and Aging Policy Committee, and Health Committee.

Sarah is running for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 66. She is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. The Democratic primary for this office on March 5, 2024, was canceled.

As of the 2020 Census, North Carolina state representatives represented an average of 87,116 residents. After the 2010 Census, each member represented 79,715 residents. District 66, which Sarah represents, includes constituents in Wake County.
