Sarah Stevens is a member of the Republican Party and has been serving as a representative in the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 90, since 2009. Her current term ends on January 1, 2025. She is running for re-election to the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 90 and is on the ballot in the general election on November 5, 2024. The Republican primary for this office on March 5, 2024, was canceled.

Stevens’ professional experience includes working as an attorney. Over the years, she has been assigned to various committees. In the 2023-2024 legislative session, Stevens was assigned to the Appropriations Committee, House Appropriations on Justice and Public Safety Committee, Judiciary II Committee (Chair), House Redistricting Committee, and Regulatory Reform Committee.
