Representative Bernie Satrom
Bernie Satrom is an American businessman and politician. He is a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives for the 12th district. He is a member of the Republican Party. Satrom owns a business that builds churches. He was the Republican nominee for the North Dakota Senate in 2012, but lost to John Grabinger.
Satrom was elected to the State House in 2016. In 2017, while defending North Dakota’s blue laws, Satrom argued that under the system, women should bring their husbands breakfast in bed on Sundays. Satrom is from Jamestown, North Dakota.
In addition to his political career, Satrom is also the President of Maranatha, a business that specializes in building churches. He holds a BS in Business Finance from Montana State University. He is involved in various community services such as the Civil Justice Task Force, Criminal Justice Task Force, Gideons Jail Ministry, and serves as a Deacon at the Temple Baptist Church. He is married to Dianne and they have four children.
Satrom has been serving in the House since 2017. He represents the 12th district of North Dakota, which includes the city of Jamestown. His current term ends on December 1, 2024.
