Representative Doug Osowski

​Doug Osowski is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 42. He assumed office on December 1, 2024, and his current term will end on December 1, 2028.​

Born in December 1961, Doug has spent his life deeply rooted in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He pursued higher education in the field of industrial technology, earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts degree. These academic achievements laid the groundwork for his extensive career in information technology within the North Dakota University System. Over the years, Doug has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to the state’s educational infrastructure, culminating in a Certificate of Appreciation honoring his 25 years of dedicated service.​

In his professional capacity, Doug serves as a Senior Systems Administrator for the North Dakota University System. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing critical IT operations, ensuring the seamless functioning of technological systems that support both students and faculty across the state’s higher education institutions. His expertise in this area has been instrumental in advancing the technological capabilities of the university system.​

Within the North Dakota House of Representatives, Doug is an active participant on the Education and Transportation Committees.
