Greg Stemen is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He is currently serving as a representative in the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 27th district, alongside Josh Christy. He assumed office on December 1, 2020.

Greg Stemen is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He is currently serving as a representative in the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 27th district, alongside Josh Christy. He assumed office on December 1, 2020.

Stemen is also a Business Banking Officer and Vice President at Starion Bank. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Education from Valley City State University and a Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership from Southwest Minnesota State University.

Stemen has held several notable positions in the field of education. He served on the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education from 2015 to 2018, during which he was the Vice Chair from 2017 to 2018. He also served as the Vice Chair of the North Dakota Veterans Home Governing Board.

Stemen was appointed to District 27 of the North Dakota House of Representatives on December 1, 2020, to fill the vacancy created by the election of Thomas Beadle as state treasurer.

In the 2022 elections, Stemen ran for re-election to the North Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 27. He won in the general election on November 8, 2022. His current term ends on December 1, 2026.

During his tenure, Stemen has been assigned to several committees. In the 2023-2024 legislative session, he was assigned to the Appropriations - Human Resources Division Committee, where he served as Vice Chair. In the 2021-2022 session, he was assigned to the House Industry, Business and Labor Committee and the House Government and Veterans Affairs Committee.
