Representative Macy Bolinske

​Macy Bolinske is a Republican member of the North Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 40. She assumed office on December 1, 2024, and her current term will end on December 1, 2028.​

Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, Macy graduated from Bishop Ryan Catholic School before earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Dakota, graduating summa cum laude. In 2014, she was crowned Miss Norsk Høstfest, celebrating her Scandinavian heritage, and in 2016, she earned the title of Miss North Dakota, representing the state at the 2017 Miss America competition. During her tenure, Macy focused on preventing drinking and driving and promoting positive decision-making among youth, delivering her presentation “You Decide the Road Ahead” to thousands of North Dakota students.​

Professionally, Macy has worked as a case manager for the YWCA women and children’s shelter in Minot, assisting numerous women and children in finding permanent housing and employment. She also served as a paraprofessional within the Minot Public School district, demonstrating her commitment to education and support for vulnerable populations. Currently, Macy works as a financial administrator for her family’s business, gaining firsthand experience in the challenges and rewards of running a local enterprise.​

In the North Dakota House of Representatives, Macy serves on the Human Services and Political Subdivisions committees. Her legislative priorities include pro-life advocacy, Second Amendment rights, promoting small government, addressing substance abuse with real solutions, and ensuring fair competition in women’s and girls’ sports.​ North Dakota Legislative Branch

Residing in Minot with her husband, Ben Bolinske, and their daughter, Macy is dedicated to representing the values and concerns of her constituents in District 40. Her diverse experiences in community service, education, and business equip her with a well-rounded perspective to serve effectively in the North Dakota House of Representatives.
