Representative Matthew Ruby Contact information

Matthew Ruby is an American politician and military officer who has been serving as a member of the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 40th district since December 1, 2016. He was elected in November 2016.

Born and raised in Minot, North Dakota, Ruby studied history and elementary education at Minot State University. Although he did not earn a degree, he has made significant contributions in various fields.

In his military career, Ruby has served as a member of the 815th Engineer Company with the United States Army. He also worked as a recruiter for the North Dakota Army National Guard. Since 2010, he has served as a staff sergeant and heavy equipment operator in the North Dakota Army National Guard.

In addition to his military service, Ruby is also the owner of 5R Construction, contributing to the local economy and providing employment opportunities.

Outside of his professional life, Ruby is involved in several community organizations. He is a Project Manager at NDNG and a Staff Sergeant with the 818th En Co (SAPPERS) since 2010. He is also a Director at the Forgotten Warrior Foundation 501C3, a member of the Apathy Original MC, the American Legion Post 26, and St. Johns Apostle Catholic Church.

Ruby is married to Dana and they have four children. They reside at 1400 Golden Valley Lane, Minot, ND 58703-1192.
