Representative Robin Weisz
Robin Weisz was born on May 30, 1956. He is an American politician and a member of the Republican Party. He has been serving in the North Dakota House of Representatives from the 14th District since 1996.
Weisz attended the University of North Dakota. His professional experience includes being the owner and operator of M + W, Incorporated. He was also the chair of Lynn Township Supervisors from 1980 to 1994.
In addition to his political career, Weisz is a farmer and businessman. He has been recognized with several awards and fellowships throughout his career. These include the BILLD Fellowship in 1999, Legislator of the Year by NDEMSA in 1999 and 2011, Legislator of the Year by NDTOA in 2003 and 2009, Legislator of the Year by MHA in 2006, and the Henry Toll Fellow in 2006. He is also a member of the Farm Bureau.
Weisz is married to Lori and they have two children. They reside at 2639 First Street SE, Hurdsfield, ND 58451-9029.
As a legislator, Weisz has sponsored numerous bills and has served on several committees. These include the Interim Administrative Rules Committee, Health Care Committee, Health Services Committee, Information Technology Committee, and Legislative Management Standing Procedural Committees Rules.
His current term ends on December 1, 2024, and he is running for re-election to the North Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 14. The Republican primary is on June 11, 2024.
