Representative Jodi Salvo

Representative Jodi Salvo, a member of the Republican Party, serves in the Ohio House of Representatives, representing District 51. She assumed office on January 1, 2025, and her current term is set to conclude on December 31, 2026.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jodi Salvo has dedicated her career to public service and community engagement. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the California University of Pennsylvania in 1991 and later pursued a graduate degree at Marywood University, completing it in 1994. Her professional journey includes roles as a nonprofit director, medical social worker, home health care social worker, and rehabilitation unit case manager. These experiences have equipped her with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals and families, particularly in areas related to health and social services.

Salvo has been actively involved in various organizations and initiatives aimed at improving the lives of Ohioans. She has served as president and advisory council member of Ohio’s Statewide Prevention Coalition Association and has contributed her expertise to the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist Board. Her commitment to addressing addiction and trafficking issues is evident through her involvement with the Tuscarawas County Addiction Task Force, Tusc Against Trafficking, and other local coalitions such as Healthy Tusc and Empower Tusc.

In addition to her professional and advocacy work, Salvo has been a prominent figure in her community, collaborating with groups like the Tuscarawas Chamber of Commerce and Access Tusc. Her leadership and dedication have earned her recognition and respect among her peers and constituents.
