Representative Anthony Moore

Anthony Moore is a member of the Republican Party and currently serves in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 57. He assumed office on November 18, 2020, and his current term will conclude on November 18, 2026.

Born and raised in Clinton, Oklahoma, Moore graduated from Clinton High School, where he distinguished himself academically and athletically, including winning a state championship in golf. He went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from Oklahoma Christian University, followed by a Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law. His professional background is rooted in law, as he has worked as an attorney, which has provided him with a strong foundation for his legislative career. Moore’s legal expertise and deep ties to his community have shaped his approach to public service, emphasizing fairness, accountability, and responsiveness to the needs of his constituents.

Moore was first elected to the Oklahoma House in 2020, succeeding Harold Wright. His district encompasses Custer, Roger Mills, and Beckham counties, areas with strong agricultural and rural traditions. Since taking office, Moore has been active in legislative leadership and committee work. In 2024, he was elected by his colleagues to serve as Speaker Pro Tempore of the Oklahoma House of Representatives, the second-highest leadership position in the chamber. This role has expanded his influence in shaping legislative priorities and guiding the work of the House. His committee assignments have included work on issues such as mental health finances and special conference committees, reflecting his commitment to addressing both statewide challenges and local concerns.
