Senator Avery Frix

Avery Carl Frix is a Republican member of the Oklahoma State Senate, representing District 9. He assumed office on November 20, 2024, and his current term is set to end on November 22, 2028.

Born and raised in Muskogee, Oklahoma, Avery Frix has deep roots in his community. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Oklahoma in 2016, which laid the foundation for his career in public service and business. Before joining the State Senate, Frix served in the Oklahoma House of Representatives, representing District 13. During his tenure in the House, he gained recognition for his leadership and dedication, particularly as the Chair of the House Transportation Committee.

Frix’s professional background includes experience in the construction industry, where he developed a strong understanding of infrastructure and economic development—key issues he continues to champion in the Senate.
