Ed Diehl is a member of the Oregon House of Representatives from the 17th district. He assumed office on January 9, 2023. He succeeded Jami Cate in this role.

Ed Diehl is a Christian family man with deep roots in House District 17. He ran for office to stand up for his neighbors, businesses, and values in the Oregon Legislature. Ed and his wife Jamie, along with two great partners, built an engineering business from the ground up.

Before his political career, Ed Diehl was a business owner. He was the Co-Owner and President of Concept Systems Inc. He has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He has over 20 years of experience in business and community on the receiving end of government overreach.
