Representative Mike Cabell
Michael “Mike” Cabell is an American politician and businessman who is currently serving as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 117th district. He was elected in November 2022 and assumed office on December 1, 2022.
Cabell was born and raised in Pennsylvania. He attended Bishop Hafey High School and later pursued higher education at Saint Joseph’s University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science in 2011.
Before entering politics, Cabell had a successful career in business. From 2009 to 2016, he worked as the COO and CEO of Abbey Road Control, a flagging and traffic control company. He then operated the Silver Pines Treatment Center in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania from 2016 to 2021. He also co-founded and served on the board of Civiq Health, further demonstrating his leadership skills and commitment to public service.
In the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Cabell represents the 117th district, serving part of Luzerne County. He is a member of the Republican Party. His committee assignments include Appropriations, Game & Fisheries, Human Services (where he serves as the Republican Secretary), and Transportation. He also serves on the Subcommittee on Aviation.
Cabell is married to Chelsea Cabell. He continues to be a business owner, balancing his responsibilities in the private sector with his duties as a public servant.
