Senator Nick Pisciottano

Nick Pisciottano, a member of the Democratic Party, serves in the Pennsylvania State Senate representing District 45. He assumed office on December 1, 2024, and his current term is set to conclude on November 30, 2028.

Born and raised in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania, Pisciottano graduated from West Mifflin Area High School in 2008. He pursued higher education at Washington & Jefferson College, earning bachelor’s degrees in history and accounting in 2012. Furthering his academic journey, he obtained a Master of Arts in government analytics from Johns Hopkins University in 2019. His professional background includes experience as a certified public accountant and auditor, showcasing his expertise in financial matters and governance.

Pisciottano has been actively involved in community service, notably serving as the president of the West Mifflin Community Foundation. His dedication to public service and community development has been a cornerstone of his career. In the Pennsylvania State Senate, he has been assigned to various committees, including the Consumer Protection & Professional Licensure Committee, where he serves as the Subcommittee Chair on Utilities, as well as the House Labor & Industry Committee and the House Transportation Committee.

Throughout his political career, Pisciottano has demonstrated a commitment to addressing the needs of his constituents and advocating for policies that promote economic growth, social equity, and community well-being. His leadership and vision continue to shape his contributions to the state of Pennsylvania.
