Senator Gabriel Gaby Gonzáles

Obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Subsequently continued postgraduate studies, completing a Master’s degree in Public Affairs with a concentration in Public Policy. More recently, completed 36 credits toward a Doctorate in Business Administration. In the professional field, has served in multiple roles within Public Service. Has held the position of Supervisor of the Investigations area of the State Insurance Fund Corporation. Worked in the Senate of Puerto Rico as Assistant Director of the Central Communications Office. Experience within Municipalities has led to valuable learning in legislation, project management, bidding processes, and contracting. Among the positions held are: Municipal Legislator of Arecibo Municipal Secretary of Camuy Chairman of the Board of Bids Within these roles, worked with applications, evaluation of proposals, and awarding of projects. Also worked on the drafting of contracts and inspection of projects. Currently serves as Senator for the District of Arecibo, a position held since January 2, 2025; and is the chairman of the Committee on Planning, Permits, Infrastructure, and Urbanism.
