Heather Ammons Crawford grew up along the Grand Strand in Horry County. After graduating from Socastee High School, she went on to earn degrees from Horry Georgetown Technical College and Francis Marion University. Representative Crawford is a Republican and has been an active member of the South Carolina House of Representatives for several terms.

Notably, upon its inception, Governor Henry McMaster appointed Representative Crawford to represent our area on the South Carolina Floodwater Commission. Born on June 25, Representative Crawford is the daughter of Richard D., Sr., and Rhonda B. Ammons. She holds a B.S. degree from Francis Marion University. Additionally, she is married to Cam Crawford.
