Representative Sue Peterson
Sue Peterson is an American politician who currently serves in the South Dakota House of Representatives. Prior to her political career, she worked as a commercial banker and a track coach at Sioux Falls Christian High School. However, the job she is most proud of is being a mom. Sue and her husband Bill have three grown children—Lucas, Robert, and William—who were born, raised, and continue to reside in Sioux Falls.
Rep. Peterson has had the privilege of serving the people of District 13 in the South Dakota House of Representatives for the past seven years. During her time in the State Legislature, she has been actively involved in various committees. Notably, she served as the Chair of the Government Operations and Audit Committee, Vice Chair of the Education Committee, and Vice Chair of the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee.
In addition to her legislative duties, Sue Peterson is currently running for election to the South Dakota State Senate to represent District 13. Her commitment to public service and her dedication to her community make her a strong advocate for the people of South Dakota.
