Early Life and Education

Born in Amarillo, Texas, Johnson graduated from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He grew up with a strong sense of family values and a commitment to hard work.

Career

  • Johnson is Vice President of public relations for Takl Inc., a company that owns a smartphone app described as the “Uber for odd jobs.” The app connects self-employed providers with users who need chores and small jobs completed.
  • He also received ownership of LFGS, LLC (d.b.a. Leipers Fork Market) from his wife, Deanna. Johnson reports LFGS, LLC as a source of income and investment.
  • In March 2006, Johnson was identified as a delegate of the Southern Republican Leadership Conference.

Tennessee Senate

  • Elected to the Tennessee General Assembly Senate in 2006, Johnson quickly assumed leadership roles:

Jack Johnson is married to Deanna Carol Bell Johnson, and they have three children. The Johnsons reportedly attend Grace Chapel Church in Franklin.
