Colin Jack is a member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 73. He is a member of the Republican Party and assumed office on January 1, 2023. His current term ends on January 1, 2025.

Before his current position, Jack served in the Utah House of Representatives District 62. He replaced former Rep. Travis Seegmiller. Jack ran for re-election to the Utah House of Representatives to represent District 73 and won in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Colin Jack’s career experience includes working as an electrical engineer and chief operating officer for Dixie Power in St. George, Utah. He served as a delegate, precinct chair, district chair, party vice-chair, and on the state central committee for the Republican Party.

In the 2023-2024 term, Jack was assigned to several committees: House Economic Development and Workforce Services Committee, House Education Committee, and Public Utilities, Energy, and Technology Committee, where he served as Vice Chair.

In the 2022 elections, Colin Jack won the election for Utah House of Representatives District 73 on November 8, 2022. He also defeated Nina Barnes and incumbent Travis Seegmiller in the Republican primary for Utah House of Representatives District 73 on June 28, 2022.

Colin Jack is a staunch Republican and supports each plank of the Utah Republican Party Platform. He is a free market constitutional conservative. He believes in the US Constitution, the free market, capitalism, and minimal government intrusion. He holds his Christian and Republican values dear and is committed to working with constituents, other legislators, and relevant parties for the benefit of all.

Colin Jack was born in Provo, Utah, but raised in Lukachukai, Arizona, in the middle of the Navajo Reservation. He worked hard in the family business, Totso Trading Post, which consisted of a general store, gas station, and café. He studied at BYU and graduated as an Electrical Engineer. As a representative in the Utah State Legislature, he works to derive and balance conservative budgets, negotiate practical solutions to the issues in the state, and introduce the laws of physics to the capital, to the benefit of the district.
