Representative John Arthur

John Arthur is a member of the Democratic Party and currently serves in the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 41. He assumed office on December 8, 2025, and his current term will conclude on January 1, 2027.

Arthur was appointed to the seat following the resignation of his predecessor, Gay Lynn Bennion, and his appointment marked the beginning of his tenure in the state legislature.

Arthur was born and raised in Utah and pursued his education at the University of Utah, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, followed by graduate studies at Westminster University.
