Henry Pearl is a seventh-generation Vermonter, deeply rooted in the traditions and values of his home state. He was born and raised in Danville, Vermont, where he continues to reside. Henry’s educational journey began at Danville School, after which he pursued higher education at Vermont Technical College (VTC), earning an associate degree in dairy farm management. He furthered his studies at the University of Vermont (UVM), where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in community development and applied economics.

After completing his education, Henry returned to Danville to revive and manage his family’s dairy farm. His commitment to agriculture and sustainable farming practices has been a cornerstone of his career. Beyond farming, Henry has been an active member of his community, serving in various capacities such as a member of the rescue squad, the development review board, the planning commission, and most recently, the selectboard.

Henry Pearl’s dedication to public service led him to run for office, and he was elected to the Vermont House of Representatives in November 2020. He assumed office on January 6, 2021, representing the Caledonia-Washington-1 district. As a member of the Democratic Party, Henry has focused on issues that resonate with his constituents, particularly in the areas of agriculture and community development. He serves on the House Committee on Agriculture and Forestry, where he advocates for policies that support Vermont’s farming communities and promote sustainable agricultural practices.

Henry is married to Allison, and together they have two young sons. The Pearl family is actively involved in their local community, balancing their time between managing the family farm and participating in various community activities.
