Noah Hyman, an American politician affiliated with the Democratic Party, serves as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Chittenden-8 District. He assumed office on January 4, 2023.

NOAH HYMAN is a Democratic who serves as a State Representative in the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the new Chittenden 8 district, which covers parts of South Burlington and Williston Vermont. Noah was born in Philadelphia and raised in Lafayette Hill, PA. Born into a family of jewelers he is proud to be a fourth-generation jeweler and goldsmith. After many years apprenticing with his grandfather in the family business, he eventually became the owner. Owning and operating a small business taught Noah about the importance of hard work and the positive impact small business owners can have on a community. Philadelphia is where he met his wife who has deep Vermont roots. Ultimately their love for Vermont led them to begin their family here in our great state. Noah was lucky to able to be a stay at home father for the first ten years of his children’s lives. And during that time he was very active in their schools, and school system. During this time, Noah also formed an environmental PAC which had several successes. He began to think about being more involved in governance . When his eldest child began studying civics around the same time as the January 6th Capitol attack, Noah realized that he should run for elected office. Noah is a member of the House Committee on Human Services. As a legislator, he has the opportunity to help Vermont on issues such as housing affordability and improving access to healthcare. Prevention, and assistance for people with substance use disorders, housing issues relating to homelessness, housing insecurity, food insecurity, health care and so much more. He is honored to serve his constituents and with his colleagues in the House and Senate.
