About Representative Penny Demar
Penny Demar serves as a Republican Representative for District Franklin-7 in the Vermont state legislature.
Demar previously owned and operated a local meat market providing sales and custom services, and he is a retired rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service. Demar attended Montgomery Elementary School in Montgomery Center, Vermont and Enosburg High School in Enosburg Falls, Vermont, graduating in 1970. Demar served on the Enosburg Development Review Board and Planning Commission, the Enosburg Falls School Board, and on the Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union Board. Demar was married to Deborah Kennison of Enosburg for 48 years, and together they raised three children and six grandchildren.
