Representative Andrew Rice

Andrew Rice serves as a Republican Representative for District 98 in the Virginia state legislature.

Rice is the top level trial attorney for the Commonwealth’s Attorney Office for the City of Virginia Beach, where he has served the citizens since 2012. Andrew is very involved in providing training to various groups of law enforcement by being faculty for the National District Attorney Association where he has lectured on void dire, cross examination, and trial preparation for sexual assault cases. Andrew is also faculty for the Virginia Commonwealth Attorney Service Counsel for IMPACT, Prosecutor Bootcamp, and Sound of Silence. Doucette Lecture of Merit Award from the Commonwealth Attorney Service Council, and the 2025 Virginia S. Andrew also is involved in his local bar association where he has served on the executive board for 7 years, and took presidency in 2025.
