Senator Tara Durant
Tara Anne Durant, born on October 26, 1972, hails from Des Moines, Iowa. She pursued her education at Coe College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Communication. With a passion for education, Tara worked as an elementary school teacher and also contributed to United Way initiatives.
In her political career, Tara Durant has made significant strides. She served as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates from the 28th district, having been elected in November 2021 and assuming office on January 12, 2022.
