Representative Brianna Thomas

Brianna Thomas is a Democratic member of the Washington House of Representatives. She represents District 34. Brianna assumed office on January 21, 2025, Her current term is set to end on January 12, 2026.

Brianna has dedicated her career to public service and community advocacy. Before her appointment to the Washington House of Representatives, she worked in various impactful roles. She served as a legislative aide to Councilmember Lorena González and later became González’s chief of staff. Brianna also worked as a policy advisor in the Seattle Mayor’s Office and as a field director for the Washington Housing Alliance Action Fund. Her commitment to social justice was evident when she managed the campaign for the $15 minimum wage in SeaTac, a groundbreaking initiative that set a precedent for wage reforms across the nation.

A graduate of the University of Washington, Brianna has always been deeply connected to her community. Her professional journey also includes roles such as office manager for the Church Council of Greater Seattle, where she honed her skills in organizational leadership and community engagement. Brianna’s passion for advocacy and her ability to navigate complex policy issues have made her a respected figure in Washington’s political landscape.

Outside of her professional life, Brianna is known for her love of dinner theater and her vibrant personality. She resides in West Seattle, where she continues to engage with her constituents and work on policies that aim to improve the quality of life for all residents in her district. Her dedication to public service and her community-driven approach underscore her commitment to making a positive impact in Washington State.
