Anitra Hamilton was born on June 20th, 1977, in the picturesque town of Princeton, West Virginia. Her commitment to public service began early, fueled by her upbringing and a strong sense of community. She attended Mt. View High School in McDowell County before pursuing higher education at West Virginia University. There, she earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in both Psychology (2000) and Biology (2001). Later, she also pursued nursing studies, graduating in 2004.
