Elías Gorden Coop-González, born on May 2, 2002, is an American politician currently serving as a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates for District 67. His story is one of determination, service, and youthful enthusiasm.
Early Life and Education: Elías was born in Guatemala to an American father and a Guatemalan mother. After his parents’ divorce, he moved to the United States at the age of 12. Growing up in Elkins, West Virginia, he attended Tygart Valley Christian Academy, where he graduated as valedictorian in 2020. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in business administration and economics at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.
