Larry L. Rowe was born in Bluefield, West Virginia. His parents were Rosa Rowe and the late Eldridge E. Rowe, Sr. His religious affiliation is Episcopal.

Education: He holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from West Virginia University. Additionally, he earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the West Virginia University College of Law.

Career and Legislative Service: Larry Rowe has a legal background and has served in various capacities within West Virginia’s legislative system. His political journey includes multiple terms in the West Virginia House of Delegates:

He was first elected in 1996 and served until 2000. Later, he was elected to the Senate in 2004. In 2014, he returned to the House and continued serving until 2020. Rowe’s commitment to public service extends beyond legislative roles:

He held leadership positions in various organizations, including the Kanawha Valley Historical and Preservation Society, St. John’s Episcopal Church of Charleston, and the Booker T. Washington Memorial Association. Additionally, he volunteered with Manna Meal and other community initiatives. Published Work: Rowe authored the book titled “Virginia Slavery and King Salt in Booker T. Washington’s Boyhood Home.”
