Alex A. Dallman, born on May 22, 1992, is an American Republican politician. He currently represents the 41st Assembly district in the Wisconsin State Assembly, a position he has held since 2021. His district encompasses most of Green Lake and Marquette counties, as well as the southern half of Adams County. Notably, the district also includes Ripon, a city in western Fond du Lac County that claims to be the birthplace of the Republican Party.

Early Life and Education: Alex Dallman hails from Markesan, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of Markesan High School. He furthered his education at Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science.

Political Career: Dallman’s political journey began with constituent services in the office of Wisconsin congressman Glenn Grothman. He continues to serve as an outreach representative for Congressman Grothman. Additionally, since 2018, Dallman has chaired the Green Lake County Republican Party.

In 2020, when incumbent 41st district assemblymember Joan Ballweg announced she would not seek reelection to the Assembly but instead run for the Wisconsin State Senate, Alex Dallman stepped up. He ran for the Republican nomination to replace Ballweg in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Despite facing three opponents in the Republican primary, Dallman secured the endorsement of former Republican Governor Scott Walker and emerged victorious with nearly 50% of the primary vote. In the general election, he defeated Democrat Nate Zimdars and independent Jean Bartz, securing 60% of the vote.

Personal Life: Alex Dallman resides in Green Lake, Wisconsin. He is an active member of the Green Lake County Farm Bureau and the Manchester Rod & Gun Club.
