Representative Chuck Wichgers

Chuck Wichgers is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 84th Assembly District. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, and his current term is set to end on January 4, 2027.

Born on July 4, 1965, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Chuck Wichgers grew up in Muskego, where he graduated from Muskego High School in 1983. He later attended Waukesha County Technical College, earning an associate degree in 1985. Before entering politics, Wichgers built a career in professional sales, with a focus on medical sales and conservative pain management solutions.

Wichgers began his political journey as a member of the Muskego Common Council and the Waukesha County Board of Supervisors, both roles he held starting in 1999. His dedication to public service led him to the Wisconsin State Assembly, where he was first elected in 2016 to represent the 83rd Assembly District. Over the years, he has represented multiple districts due to redistricting and election outcomes, including the 82nd and now the 84th Assembly District.

Throughout his legislative career, Wichgers has been an advocate for conservative values and has served on various committees, including those focused on education, health, and ethics. He has also been actively involved in community service, coaching youth sports and volunteering with his family to assist nursing home residents.

Wichgers is married to Michelle (Hocking) Wichgers, and together they have eight children. The family resides in Muskego, Wisconsin, where they remain deeply engaged in their community. Known for his strong stance on issues such as education reform and public health policies, Wichgers continues to be a prominent figure in Wisconsin politics.
