Born on August 21, 1959, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, Cindi Duchow has built a career that spans politics, retail management, and community service. She graduated from Catholic Memorial High School in 1977 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1981. Her professional background includes working as a manager and fashion specialist for national retailers, as well as contributing to her family’s boating business on Lake Michigan.
Duchow’s political journey began at the local level, where she served on the Town of Delafield Board of Supervisors from 2012 to 2016. Her dedication to public service and her community paved the way for her election to the Wisconsin State Assembly in a special election in September 2015.
