Representative Duke Tucker

Duke Tucker is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 75th Assembly District. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, and his current term is set to end in January 2027.

Born in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, in 1970, Duke Tucker grew up in the farming community of Trade Lake in Burnett County. After graduating from Grantsburg High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served as a combat communications specialist during the Gulf War. His military service instilled in him a strong sense of duty and discipline, which he carried into his civilian life.

Following his honorable discharge from the Air Force, Tucker worked in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, installing voice and data communications networks. He later joined Grantsburg Telcom, where he served as Operations Manager for 28 years. His professional career was marked by a commitment to innovation and community service, as he played a key role in improving telecommunications infrastructure in his region.

Tucker’s political career began in 2024 when he was elected to the Burnett County Board of Supervisors. Shortly thereafter, he announced his candidacy for the Wisconsin State Assembly. The 75th Assembly District had undergone significant changes due to redistricting, and Tucker emerged as a strong Republican candidate. He won the Republican primary with nearly 50% of the vote and went on to secure a decisive victory in the general election, earning nearly 67% of the vote.

As a legislator, Tucker has focused on issues such as public safety, fiscal responsibility, and protecting individual freedoms. He is a staunch advocate for the Second Amendment and has worked to ensure secure and fair elections. Tucker is also committed to supporting education and workforce development, emphasizing the importance of preparing students for self-sufficiency and success in the trades.

Duke Tucker resides in West Marshland, Wisconsin, with his wife, Roxanne, and their two children.
