Lori Ann Palmeri (née Clarke; born May 25, 1967) is an American urban planner, community organizer, and Democratic politician. She currently serves as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin’s 54th Assembly district since January 2023.

Lori Palmeri was born in Takoma Park, Maryland, but her heart now resides in Wisconsin. She earned her B.A. in urban and regional studies from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, and later pursued a master’s degree in urban planning from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. Her commitment to public service extends beyond legislative halls; she has worked as a substitute teacher in the Oshkosh School District, a medical courier for CS Logistics, and a finance recruiting administrator for Kimberly Clark.

Local Leadership: Lori Palmeri’s journey in local government began in 2016 when she joined the Oshkosh Common Council. She didn’t stop there—she went on to serve two terms as the Mayor of Oshkosh. Her dedication to community development and planning led her to participate in various advisory and non-profit boards, including the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission, the Oshkosh Redevelopment Authority, and the Transit Advisory Board.
