Ron Tusler, born March 21, 1984, is an American politician affiliated with the Republican Party. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing District 3. He assumed office on January 3, 2017.

Wisconsin State Representative Ron Tusler was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, in 1984. His family has deep roots in the Fox Valley’s history. His great-grandfather, Sen. Gordon Bubolz, Sr., played a significant role in conserving Northeast Wisconsin’s state parks, including High Cliff State Park. The Gordon Bubolz Nature Preserve was renamed in honor of his service to the community.

Education and Career:

  • Ron graduated from St. Matthew’s Lutheran in 1998 and Neenah High School in 2002.
  • In 2007, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Urban Education, History (with Honors), and a minor in Political Science from UW-Milwaukee.
  • Ron later obtained his J.D. from Marquette University Law School in 2010.
  • As a student-teacher in Milwaukee Public Schools, he taught US History and other subjects.
  • During law school, he represented Marquette University in American Bar Association competitions.
  • He interned at the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office and worked as a student attorney in various legal offices.
  • After law school, Ron worked for Alan Hoff Law Offices in Appleton.
