Representative Russell Goodwin

Russell Goodwin is a member of the Democratic Party, serving in the Wisconsin State Assembly. He represents the 12th Assembly District, having assumed office on January 6, 2025. His current term is set to end on January 4, 2027.

Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Russell Goodwin has been a dedicated advocate for his community throughout his life. In 2024, he announced his candidacy for the Wisconsin State Assembly’s 12th District, a seat previously held by LaKeshia Myers. Goodwin’s campaign emphasized his vision for a more inclusive and prosperous Wisconsin, resonating with voters and securing his victory in both the Democratic primary and the general election.
