Representative Tony Kurtz

Tony Kurtz is a Republican member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 41st Assembly District. He assumed office on January 6, 2025, and his current term is set to end in January 2027.

Tony Kurtz has dedicated his life to public service and community engagement. Born on December 23, 1966, in Columbus, Ohio, he pursued higher education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, and later at Troy University, where he completed a Master of Science degree. Before entering politics, Kurtz served in the United States Army for two decades, achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer Four. His military career included deployments during the Gulf War and the Iraq War, showcasing his commitment to his country.

After retiring from the Army, Kurtz transitioned to civilian life in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, where he and his wife, Kim, own and operate a farm. The couple has two children, Kaylin and Nick, who are pursuing their education in Wisconsin. In addition to farming, Kurtz is the CEO of Kaynick Solutions, a business venture that reflects his entrepreneurial spirit.

Kurtz’s political journey began in 2019 when he was elected to represent Wisconsin’s 50th Assembly District. During his tenure, he focused on issues such as tax reform, economic development, and support for veterans. In 2025, he transitioned to representing the 41st Assembly District, continuing his advocacy for policies that benefit his constituents and the broader Wisconsin community.
