Representative William Penterman
William L. Penterman, born May 18, 1996, is an American dairy farmer and dedicated Republican politician. He represents the 37th Assembly district in the Wisconsin State Assembly, a position he has held since July 26, 2021. Penterman’s commitment to public service extends beyond legislative duties; he also serves as a sergeant in the United States Army Reserve.
Born in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, Penterman graduated from Fox Valley Lutheran High School in 2014. Later, he earned a B.A. in Politics and Government from Ripon College in 2018. His diverse background includes work as a legislative assistant and a committee clerk within the Wisconsin State Assembly.
In addition to his political endeavors, Penterman is deeply engaged in his community. He actively participates in various organizations, including the Dodge County Farm Bureau, Columbus Kiwanis Club, Zion Lutheran Church (where he serves as Treasurer), Phi Beta Kappa, the National Rifle Association, and the Adopt-A-Highway program. Furthermore, he contributes to the Historical Society of Wisconsin as a member of the Board of Curators.
